Release Notes

Launches, updates
& improvements.

We've made several noteworthy improvements to our platform including the "always on" setting int the Auto Response module, optimized Local Performance to ensure smooth responsiveness, a User Name Change feature for easy profile updates, and we've resolved bugs in the Review Showcase and Bulk Q&A upload features, enhancing overall functionality and performance across the platform.

We're pleased to introduce significant enhancements to our Services feature, aimed at improving user experience. With the latest update, Structured Services and FreeForm Services are now presented in separate sheets within the Locations module.

LocalClarity's newest enhancement is to the Image Management module- by connecting it with Reviews. With this update, customer review images now display the corresponding star rating, offering valuable insights at a glance.

We're thrilled to introduce a significant enhancement to our Automations Center: the inclusion of Google Updated Review notifications. This update expands the capabilities of our Automation Center, now providing the option to receive notifications when a review is updated on Google. Previously, this feature was missing from our Automations. However, with this update, we have successfully bridged that gap, empowering businesses to streamline their workflow and stay informed about customer inquiries, ultimately enhancing their customer engagement and satisfaction.

Great news! We are excited to announce a further extension of Google Service Offerings to all Google Business Profile categories, providing the most comprehensive offering for your Service listing needs directly in our Manage Locations module. With our initial launch, we found some service offerings were limited to specific categories. However, with this update, services have been extended to all eligible categories.

Introducing a new enhancement! Users can effortlessly manage and oversee their Google Business Profile service offerings in bulk view using a connected Google Sheet. This exciting addition empowers businesses to easily edit and promote services across multiple Google Business listings. Thanks to the integration of Google's latest API, businesses can now push services at scale, making the process more efficient and convenient.

LocalClarity's image management module has been upgraded to address a crucial concern. Users now have the ability to view the name and date of the person who flagged an image. This enhancement fills the gap in visibility by providing information about flagged public images, including the identity of the individual who reported them and the date of the flagging. With this improvement, users can effectively address flagged images and maintain a positive online reputation.

All review reporting and download files will now be updated with additional data points to support localized reporting. The recent enhancement for review timestamp location is adding complexity to all aspects of review reporting. Even the idea of 'all the reviews from yesterday' takes on a different meaning depending on the time zone for each of the locations in the report. This update provides access to the data points necessary to validate all reports and downloads.

In order to provide comprehensive review timeline history, LocalClarity now documents the initial fetch time for each individual review. This update addresses issues where clients noticed a "new" review from a previous week without a response. Typically caused by Google's publishing and editorial review delay, the review is released with the original create timestamp. This new FetchDate(UTC) field offers visibility into both the create date and release date, ensuring transparency and accurate review tracking.

LocalClarity is proud to announce a rebuilt review response workflow, designed to support our newest capabilities for businesses and agencies alike. Historically, LocalClarity presented a distinct workflow for authorized review connections (Google, Facebook, Trustpilot, etc) and indexed review (sources that require a public index from a third-party review platform like Yelp). This update provides a unified experience all the way up to the final posting of the response.
