Listing Detail Enhancements
June 17, 2025

Summary

The local listing detail page has been completely rebuilt to provide all users with greater visibility to their existing listing details and insight into what options might be available for greater local search discovery and higher map rankings.

Background

Google is continually expanding the available data sets to help you refine and expand your local search and map exposure and rankings. First, it was a major addition of attribute options. Then, during COVID, they added safety and delivery options. In 2023, Google expanded eligible department options. In 2024, we saw services and location open status having major impacts on rankings and greater visibility to each location’s social media links. Now, we’re seeing posts coming back to impact AI-powered results. This update helps every client have a better sense of their optimization status for every available data point.
