LocalClarity's Intelligent Auto Response campaigns now give you greater control over how AI responds to rating-only Google reviews. When configuring a campaign for reviews without written comments, you can now select the language that should be used when generating responses. This enhancement makes it easier to deliver consistent, localized customer engagement across global brands, regional markets, and multilingual customer bases.
Rating-only reviews provide valuable customer feedback, but they offer no written context that allows AI to infer the customer's preferred language. As a result, organizations operating across multiple countries or multilingual regions often needed to rely on a single default language or manually respond to these reviews to ensure the appropriate language was used. This created unnecessary manual work and reduced the effectiveness of automated engagement for international brands.
When creating or editing an Intelligent Auto Response campaign that includes a rating-only review trigger, you can now explicitly choose the language the AI agent should use when generating responses. With this enhancement, you can:
This new setting applies specifically to rating-only review campaigns where no review text exists for the AI to evaluate. For reviews that include written comments, the existing workflow remains unchanged, with AI generating responses in the detected language.
As AI capabilities continue to evolve, we'll expand the controls available to campaign administrators, giving brands and agencies greater ability to tailor automated responses based on language, location, business rules, customer context, and other campaign criteria. Our goal is to help organizations automate more customer interactions while maintaining the quality, consistency, and local relevance expected from every response.
Next month, you can expect to see an entirely new report suite dedicated to monitoring responses, both individual and across campaigns.
