September Releases: Review Dashboard Update, Response Variables, Glassdoor, and more

Releases Notes is our monthly update that highlights recent product improvements we’ve made so you can easily stay up to date on what’s new.

Review Dashboard Updates

Last week we released the first of a number of planned updates to the LocalClarity reporting dashboards. The goal is to dramatically increase the volume of information made available to users while trying to maintain a “clean” look and feel. In September, we added a new chart library, four new longitudinal charts, and extra download options.

New JavaScript Chart Library, Tabs & Colors

Incorporated into the application is an entirely new chart JavaScript library with additional data display options. Additional charts are included within tabbed navigation to keep the pages user-friendly. The new charts also have a brighter color scheme. You can see them all in action by logging into your LocalClarity account.

Reviews by Percent

To make it easier to track relative star ratings, users can now select to see reviews by percent.

Cumulative Reviews

At times, it can be beneficial to see the growth of cumulative reviews over a specific time range, or the entire lifespan of a profile.

Reviews by Source

Critical to understanding the evolution of the review landscape, users can now via review source over time. As you might expect, most LocalClarity clients are seeing the greatest volume increases from Google.

Happiness Score over Time

One of the most requested updates, Happiness Score (% of 5-Star & 4-Star reviews – % of 1-Star & 2-Star reviews) is now available over time. The graph is presented from -100 to 100 with color markets for negative scores, 0-50, and 50+.

Additional Download Options

It’s your data. We strive to provide users with easy access to every piece of data in as many formats as possible. To support this goal, we have added image downloads of every new chart forward for .png, .jpg, and .pdf formats. The data powering the chart can now be downloaded as a .csv, .xlsx, and .json formats.

More KPIs coming soon

New data elements will be released throughout October & November to provide complete visibility to the local search presence and reputation of each brand.

Response Variables, Now Easier to Access

We have made it easier for users to build customized response templates by putting the newly available variables right in the template authoring window. By simply clicking the appropriate button, the associated variable inserts into the template.

If you are interested in leveraging templates for manual or the Intelligent Auto Response program, let us know and we can set up a short meeting to outline all the tricks that are working for LocalClarity clients.

New Reviews, Glassdoor

We are always excited to add to our integration partner list. For September, we added Glassdoor.

This is a part of our commitment to expanding our list to fully encompass all the areas in which a company can receive feedback, whether that be employee or consumer-generated. Glassdoor allows current and past employees to anonymously review all aspects of a company, including the pros and cons of a job, CEO approval ratings, and other aspects. Users can also anonymously submit and view salaries as well as search and apply for jobs on its platform.

Google ID Numbers

Each Google My Business listing has a series of specific ID numbers that aren’t always easy to identify directly in the GMB Portal. To make it easier for LocalClarity users, we are now presenting the details in the Manage Locations active detail pane. The key number for most external data connections is the PID number.
