Summary
If you are a franchise, a chain, or multi-location business with ten or more listings, you are eligible to apply for Bulk Verification Status. Gaining this status for your Google Business Profile allows you to create more listings without forcing you to verify listing by listing. This article will tell you whether or not your GBP qualifies and the steps required to apply for this special status.
How does my business qualify for bulk verification status?
To be eligible for verification status and other Google services, your business must comply with Google’s quality guidelines. If your business either has a physical location that customers can visit, or travels to customers where they are, you can create a Business Profile listing. Any formatting errors will hold up your bulk verification process. Once you have more than ten listings and are using a verified Google Business Profile, you can begin the process.
It is important to organize your business within a business group (formally called a business account) if you have you to have a verified account. This helps better manage your listings as well. Having this group set up allows you to share management of your listings with multiple users safely. Once you meet these requirements, you can submit a spreadsheet to Google to review.
